AUSSIE DIVERS EXCEL IN MADRID

Commonwealth Games representative Ethan Warren (AUS) won the gold in the 3m springboard, while Jose Guerra Oliva (CUB) triumphed in both the individual and synchro (with Jeinkler Aguirre) on 10m platform.

GOLDEN BOY MITCHAM LEADS STRONG DIVING CONTINGENT FOR DELHI

Reigning Commonwealth Games champions Sharleen Stratton (QLD) and Briony Cole (VIC) will be chasing back-to-back gold medals in the 3m springboard synchro event in Delhi.

OLYMPIC DIVING GOLD MEDALLIST MATTHEW MITCHAM SIGNS WITH GRAND SLAM INTERNATIONAL

matthew mitcham1 photo hmg.jpgSydney, September 19: Grand Slam International (GSI) today announced that Olympic diving champion Matthew Mitcham has appointed Grand Slam International (GSI) for exclusive management and marketing representation.

At the recent 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Matthew performed the single greatest dive in Olympic history to become the first Australian male to win an Olympic gold medal in diving since Dick Eve at the 1924 Summer Olympics.

In what was a remarkable 10m platform final, Matthew entered the final round of dives in second place, 34 points behind Chinese diver Zhou Luxin. An extremely difficult assignment, Matthew needed to score 107.30
